COLLECTION AND USE OF YOUR DATA

The extent and type of collection and the use of your personal data differs according to whether you visit our website simply to retrieve information or contact us directly.

Use for information purposes

Duration of storage:
This data (logs) is stored for a period of 30 days.

Legal basis of data processing:
The above data is technically necessary to display our websites to you and to ensure stability and security, according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

USE OF COOKIES

We do not use cookies on our website.

CONTACT FORM AND E-MAIL

When you contact us via the contact forms or by e-mail, we will store the data you provide (your name, e-mail address, message, telephone number, if applicable, and other details) in order to answer your question(s). Mandatory information required for this purpose is marked separately, other information is voluntary.

Duration of storage:
We will delete the data collected in this connection when storage is no longer necessary, or restrict the processing if there is a statutory obligation to keep such data stored (max. ten years in the context of archiving business e-mail traffic required by commercial and tax law).

Legal basis of processing:
The processing is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our interest is to respond to your enquiry as well as to fulfill the business relationship with our business partners.

Web Analytics

It is important to us that our website has the best possible design, thus, making it attractive to website visitors. Therefore, we need to know how visitors react to the various sections of our website. To do this, it is in our interest to implement the following technology.

etracker
Within our website we use etracker, which is a web analytics tool, that enables us to complete an anonymous analysis of user behavior on our website. To this end, the user information compiled (including your abbreviated IP address) is transferred. Your IP address is immediately anonymized during the process so that you, as a user, remain anonymous to us. The data compiled using etracker is only processed by etracker on our behalf in Germany.

Legal Base(s) of Processing(s):
Processing is completed in accordance with Art. 6, Para. 1, Letter f) DSGVO (German GDPR) to safeguard the legitimate interests of those responsible or a third party. Our legitimate interest relates to the analysis of our website to enable continual improvement and optimization of offers to those visiting our website.

Social Media Links

Our websites feature links to various social media with the corresponding logos. These are not social media plug-ins, but merely a link to our offers within these media. If you click on one of these links, your IP address will always be transmitted to the operators of the various platforms. If you use one of these services and are also logged in with your specific account, information about your surfing behavior may also be collected by the operators of social media. The transmission of your IP address to the operators of the websites accessed is technically necessary and applies to all websites.

PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IN COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE EU AND THE EEA (THIRD COUNTRIES)

Processing of your personal data in countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area does not take place, with the exception of the processing described under “integrated services”.

RIGHT OF OBJECTION AND REVOCATION

If you have granted consent to the processing of your data, you are entitled to revoke this at any time. After informing us of such a revocation, this influences permissibility of the processing of your personal data.

Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on the balance of interests (the legal basis is then Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR), you may object to the processing. This is the case, in particular, if the processing is not necessary for the fulfilment of a contract with you. This is described by us in each case in the description of the individual data processing and functions available on our website in an earlier section of this privacy policy. If you submit such an objection, we would request you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data in the way we have been doing. In the case of an objection indicating reasons, we check the circumstances of the case and will either stop or adjust the data processing or explain to you our compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which we continue to process the data.

DATA SECURITY

We also use technical and organizational safety measures to protect personal data that we receive or collect, in particular against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against attack by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Transmission of your personal data is encrypted using SSL technology (https) to prevent access by unauthorized third parties.

COMMUNICATION BY E-MAIL

Our e-mail systems support encrypted communication using SSL technology (TLS 1.2 incl. PFS). It is therefore fundamentally possible to encrypt the transmission of your e-mail. Please note, however, that encryption also depends on the configuration of your e-mail program and therefore we cannot guarantee complete data security for the transport route.
For information requiring a high level of confidentiality, we recommend that you send it by post.
